Separation Support Group

You never imagined this would be your life.

One day you’re planning a future together.

The next you’re trying to figure out how to make it through the week without breaking down thinking about life without them.

Maybe you’re questioning every decision you’ve made. Maybe you’re exhausted from holding it together for your kids, your job, or everyone around you. Maybe you keep replaying conversations, wondering if you could have done something differently, or you’re overwhelmed by co-parenting, lawyers, finances, or the loneliness that hits when they’re gone and the house gets quiet.

If you’re in the middle of a separation from a partner, you’re carrying a lot and we’re here to support.

Healing Through Separation is a 3-month therapist-led support group for folks navigating separation (breakups) or divorce. From September through December, you’ll meet with other women who truly understand what this season feels like while learning practical tools to help you move through it with more confidence, clarity, and self-compassion.

Who Should Join?

This group is for adults (18+) who want support with slowing down, feeling more present, and responding to stress with more intention.

It’s a great fit for those who want to:

  • Feel less overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or overthinking
  • Build self-compassion and soften inner criticism
  • Learn mindfulness tools they can actually use in real life
  • Improve emotional regulation and increase steadiness during hard moments
  • Feel supported while practicing new ways of relating to thoughts and feelings

What to Expect

Together, we’ll explore:

  • Navigating grief, anger, guilt, and uncertainty
  • Setting healthy boundaries with your former partner and others
  • Coping with loneliness and rebuilding your support system
  • Managing difficult conversations and co-parenting (when applicable)
  • Reconnecting with who you are outside of the relationship
  • Building emotional resilience and creating hope for what’s next
  • Navigating moving on, including dating and developing new relationships

This isn’t about rushing you to “move on” or pretending everything happens for a reason.

It’s about giving yourself permission to grieve what you’ve lost, make sense of what’s happened, and begin building a life that feels steady, meaningful, and authentically yours.

Why this Group (instead of individual therapy)?

Separation can feel incredibly isolating. While individual therapy offers personalized support, there’s something uniquely healing about sitting with people who truly understand what you’re going through.

In this group, you’ll realize you’re not the only one lying awake at night replaying conversations, grieving the future you imagined, or wondering who you are outside of the relationship. You’ll find validation, encouragement, and hope from women who are navigating similar challenges.

Because the group is led by a licensed relationship therapist, you’ll receive more than emotional support. Each week includes evidence-based tools and practical skills to help you regulate difficult emotions, set healthy boundaries, rebuild your confidence, and move toward the life you want to create.

Many participants find that healing happens faster when they don’t have to do it alone.
